• “When people wish to destroy religion, they begin by attacking the priest, because where there is no longer any priest there is no sacrifice, and where there is no longer any sacrifice there is no religion.” ~ St. John Vianney, Patron Saint of Parish Priests

Father’s Status

Father Seculoff’s Status

specialFather has been removed as pastor of Saint Patrick’s in Walkerton and is living in a private residence. He is prohibited from publicly exercising his priestly ministry. In addition, civil as well as ecclesiastical authorities (the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith) have been notified. His good name has been destroyed by association with the designation of sexual abuse in the public sphere. According to Sean McBride, Director of Communications for the Diocese, Father could be laicized, meaning he would no longer be able to exercise any priestly functions – he would not even be able to offer Mass. Father Seculoff is offering up this evil that God has allowed.
